Ongoing Project JJK Center Station Platform and Bus Loop Rehabilitation

The project to replace the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center MetroLink Station platform with a new fiber-reinforced polymer deck with heating elements, and also replace the station’s concrete bus loop, is currently in the design phase. A construction firm is expected to be selected for the project in late 2026, with project completion expected in Summer 2027.
