We’re getting ready to upgrade our current light rail fleet with 55 new, state-of-the-art Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) that will bring major upgrades in technology, safety, comfort and rider experience. First deliveries of new LRVs will arrive in 2027.

MetroLink will not operate between the Delmar Loop and Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations on Saturday, Dec. 13 & Sunday, Dec. 14 – due to bridge demolition work. Bus shuttles will carry riders between these stations, please plan ahead for delays.

Metro is making investments with new construction, infrastructure, and technological upgrades to improve the transit experience for our riders. Learn more about the projects and their progress, and find out where you might experience delays as we make system improvements.

The University City-Big Bend MetroLink Station will temporarily close for approximately three weeks starting on Thursday, December 18 for infrastructure and safety upgrades. A Metro Shuttle van will be available to assist passengers.
