ADA Services – Dedicated to bringing everyone on board

Metro transit is fully committed to both the letter and the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Providing transportation to everyone wherever and whenever it is possible and practical is a core goal of our greater mission to provide a world-class, equal-access public transportation system to our metropolitan area.

ADA Certification

Metro’s ADA Services Department must first certify your eligibility before you are able to participate in reduced fare programs and ADA-eligible paratransit services, like Metro Call-A-Ride. To request information or applications to these programs, please call us at 314-982-1510. You may also download the specific application(s) you need by clicking on the appropriate link(s) below.

Remember, the Metro Call-A-Ride ADA eligibility identification card also entitles you to reduced fares on MetroBus and MetroLink.

Please note: there is a $5 replacement fee for lost or stolen Metro identification cards.

Travel Training

If you qualify for reduced fares or ADA paratransit services, the ADA Services Travel Training Program is available to help you learn how to ride MetroBus and MetroLink services independently. They can teach you how to purchase fares, recognize landmarks, understand schedules and be safety-aware in your community.
