Union Station and Civic Center Stations Single-Track Details – August 11-15

On Monday through Friday evenings from 6 p.m. until end of service, Blue Line trains will only operate from Forest Park Station to Shrewsbury Station due to construction work. During these periods: 

  • Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights Station and the Central West End Station should board a Red Line train to Forest Park Station to connect with a Blue Line train.
  • Red Line service may experience delays up to 5 minutes.
  • Customers should allow an additional 10 minutes when transferring to the Blue Line.

Due to construction work, the elevator at Skinker MetroLink Station is temporarily unavailable for several weeks, starting on Tuesday, July 22. Riders who require an elevator should use the accessible ramps at the station to enter and exit the MetroLink platform.
