School Field Trips and Groups on Metro

Looking for a fresh and fun field trip idea? Ride Metro as part of your trip!

Metro is excited to offer the Metro Student Field Trip Program to St. Louis metro area schools, grades 1–12. The program provides students, faculty and chaperones access to Metro’s bus and/or rail service.

When you use public transit for your field trip, not only are you taking your students on an educational adventure, you are teaching them important transit skills that they will carry with them for a lifetime.

Facility Tours

Why not take your class to a MetroBus garage or MetroLink train yard for your next field trip?

A Metro facility tour provides a fascinating look into the engineering, mechanical and operating principles of public transportation.

Metro offers free tours of our MetroLink facility in midtown St. Louis as well as three MetroBus facilities across the Metro area.

Speakers’ Bureau

Public transit is an integral part of the region’s transportation infrastructure and it plays a vital role within the region. Metro Transit is committed to ensuring that individuals have all of the information they need about their public transit system and the transportation options available through the Metro Speakers’ Bureau.

Metro transit speakers can provide educational presentations and information on a variety of transit-related topics. The presentations can be geared to fit a group’s specific needs and interests.

Metro Booth

Metro supports the St. Louis community at events both large and small. If you are planning an upcoming community event or festival, consider requesting the presence of a Metro representative to staff a table or booth.

At the event, Metro can provide transit information, maps, schedules, trip planning and promotional giveaways. We can also answer any transit-related questions your attendees may have.
