Customer Assistance Lost something on Metro?

At Metro, we’re committed to helping reunite our customers with lost personal items whenever possible. Please complete the Lost Item form below, and our staff will follow up with you soon.

Metro Lost and Found Policy

MetroStore receives Lost and Found items for MetroLink once a week. These items are tagged with an identification number when they arrive to the store. Due to limited space, items are kept for a 30-day period. After 30 days, unclaimed items are properly discarded.

MetroBus & Call‑A‑Ride

Items that are lost on MetroBus are kept at each MetroBus Facility. Any customer that requests lost and found items from MetroBus must be referred to the courtesy phones located in the downtown location or if at Clayton, the clerk must call the corresponding MetroBus Facility. The telephone extension for lost and found at each facility are as follows:

Illinois: ext. 2406

Brentwood: ext. 1441

DeBaliviere: ext. 2502

Call‑A‑Ride: ext. 2604

Additional Information

Lost and Found is limited to small items (phones, purses, wallets, and the like). Any large items (bikes, wheelchairs, etc.) are kept at the station or transit center where they were found.


Reporting a Lost Item

Please complete the Lost and Found form below to make an appointment to recover a lost item. To collect an item, the owner must present proper identification and sign the back of the tag attached to the lost item.
