As July heats up, there are plenty of events and activities to enjoy in the St. Louis region throughout the month. Metro is here to get you there safely, conveniently and comfortably.

The trains and buses are a great way to get around town safely, conveniently and comfortably with some great A/C! Take advantage of the $5 Metro Day Pass for unlimited rides on MetroBus and MetroLink, and check out these fun events while avoiding traffic, parking, and high gas prices.

St. Louis Cardinals Games – Various dates in July

Whitaker Music Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden – Wednesdays in July

The Whitaker Music Festival is a summer tradition that presents free Wednesday evening concerts under the stars at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

St. Louis Riverfront Cruise at the Gateway Arch Riverboats – Available throughout July

Take a load off and take in the views on a relaxing cruise that showcases St. Louis from the river that built it. This one-hour narrated cruise lets you explore everything that makes the Mississippi so mighty.

Live Weekend Music on the Dock at the Gateway Arch Riverboats – Various Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in July
MetroLink – Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Station
The riverboat dock transforms into a live music venue with local artists performing in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. Post up at the outdoor bar or grab a table and take in the sights and sounds while enjoying food and drink from the Paddlewheel Café.

Mary Poppins at the MUNY in Forest Park – 7/5 to 7/13

Mary Poppins returns to the MUNY with its irresistible story, unforgettable songs and breathtaking dance numbers!  

Stargazing at the Gateway Arch with the St. Louis Astronomical Society – 7/10 at 8 p.m.

Join the St. Louis Astronomical Society (SLAS) for a telescope viewing of the night sky at the Gateway Arch, west entrance of the Arch plaza.

Blues Cruise at the Gateway Arch Riverboats – 7/14 and 7/28; boards at 8 p.m.

The Mississippi River and blues music are a match made in heaven. Come see for yourself aboard this lively cruise celebrating a St. Louis tradition. This long-standing cruise series features some of the region’s best blues artists, from local favorites to up-and-comers — the perfect place to grab a drink and take it easy for a night.
