Metro to Run Extra Forest Park Shuttle Buses to Serve Lou Fest Concerts on August 28 – 29

WHAT: Metro will add buses to the Forest Park Shuttle and extend route hours to serve customers attending the Lou Fest in Forest Park on Saturday and Sunday, August 28 and 29, 2010.

The additional buses will operate as regular shuttle buses between the standard operating hours of 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., serving the regular stops at attractions and destinations in Forest Park. After 7:00 p.m. and until demand for service by the Lou Fest crowds ends (estimated at 10:30 p.m.), buses will travel only between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station, 250 DeBaliviere Avenue, and the Steinberg Skating Rink at Wells and Jefferson drives in Forest Park, the stop for service to the Lou Fest.

Fares will be the standard all-day Forest Park Shuttle fare of $2 for adults and $1 for seniors, customers with disabilities, and children 5 to 12.
