MetroLink Work Scheduled Next Week

Work is scheduled on the MetroLink system Monday through Sunday (April 29 through May 5). Passengers may experience short delays in the work zone. The affected areas of the MetroLink system are:

• Rock Road MetroLink Station
• Wellston MetroLink Station
• Forsyth Station
• Clayton Station
• Central West End Station

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Rock Road and Wellston Stations from 11:30 p.m. until the end of service April 29 and 30 (Monday and Tuesday) and 8 p.m. until the end of service May 1 (Wednesday). Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Forsyth and Clayton stations from 11:30 p.m. until the end of service April 29-May 3 (Monday through Friday). Blue Line passengers may experience up to 5 minute delays. Red Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Central West End Station on May 3 (Friday) from 8 p.m. until the end of service and from the beginning of service until the end of service May 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday). Red Line passengers may experience up to 5 minute delays. Blue Line service will only operate from Shrewsbury Station to Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station and the Central West End MetroLink Station should board a Red Line train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station to catch a Blue Line train. Eastbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Central West End MetroLink Station and the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station should board a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue eastbound.

The Bi-State Development Agency/Metro (BSDA/Metro) is the operator of the Metro public transportation system for the St. Louis region, which includes the 87 vehicle, 46-mile MetroLink light rail system; 374 MetroBus vehicle fleet that operates on 75 MetroBus routes; and Metro Call‑A‑Ride, a paratransit fleet of 121 vans.

BSDA/Metro also owns and operates St. Louis Downtown Airport and its surrounding industrial business park, and the Gateway Arch Riverboats, as well as operates the Gateway Arch Revenue Collections Center, the Gateway Arch Transportation System, and the Gateway Arch Parking Facility.
