MetroLink Work Scheduled November 3-9

Rail maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in short delays for some Red Line and Blue Line passengers next week, so customers are encouraged to allow a little extra time for their commutes.

To accommodate the crews, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Central West End Station, Delmar Loop Station, Rock Road Station, Wellston Station, Richmond Heights Station and Brentwood I-64 Stations, depending on the night.

• Monday (Nov. 3) starting at 8 p.m. until the end of service, MetroLink trains will share one track at the Central West End Station. Blue Line trains will only operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Station during this time. Red Line and Blue Line customers may experience 5 to 15 minute delays.

Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station and the Central West End Station Monday night, should board a Red Line train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and transfer to a Blue Line train to continue westbound.

Eastbound Blue Line passengers who board between the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Station and the Skinker MetroLink Station Monday night, should transfer to a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue eastbound. Eastbound Blue Line customers boarding between the Central West End Station and the Fairview Heights Station will also need to board an eastbound Red Line train for their trips.

• Tuesday (Nov. 4) and Wednesday (Nov. 5) starting at 8 p.m. until the end of service, MetroLink tracks will operate on a single track at the Delmar Loop Station. Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.

• Thursday (Nov. 6) starting at 8 p.m. until the end of service, MetroLink will conduct a single track operation at the Rock Road and Wellston Stations. Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.

• Friday (Nov. 7) starting at 8 p.m. until the end of service, and from the beginning of service to end of service both Saturday (Nov. 8) and Sunday (Nov. 9), Blue Line trains will share a single track at the Richmond Heights and Brentwood I-64 Stations. Please allow an extra 5 minutes for commutes on that Blue Line section of the MetroLink system.
