MetroLink Work Scheduled This Week

Work is scheduled on the MetroLink system this week Wednesday through Sunday (February 27 to March 3) and passengers may experience short delays in the work zones. The affected areas of the MetroLink system are:

• Wellston MetroLink Station
• Rock Road MetroLink Station
• UMSL South MetroLink Station
• UMSL North MetroLink Station
• North Hanley MetroLink Station
• Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Station
• Convention Center MetroLink Station
• 8th & Pine MetroLink Station
• Stadium MetroLink Station
• Maplewood MetroLink Station
• Sunnen MetroLink Station

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Wellston, Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North and North Hanley stations from 11:30 p.m. until the end of service February 27-28 (Wednesday and Thursday) to accommodate crews working on the UMSL South interlocking project. Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Laclede’s Landing, Convention Center, 8th & Pine, and Stadium stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service on March 1 (Friday) and from the beginning of service until the end of service on March 2-3 (Saturday and Sunday) to replace ADA tiles at the Stadium station. Red Line passengers may experience 10 to 15 minute delays. Blue Line trains will only operate from Forest Park station to Shrewsbury station. Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights station and the Central West End station should board a Red Line train to Forest Park station to catch a Blue Line train. Eastbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Central West End station and the Fairview Heights station should board a Red Line train at Forest Park station to continue eastbound.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood stations from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. March 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday) in order to perform inspections. Red Line service will not be affected. Blue Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.
