MetroStore Moving to New Location in Downtown St. Louis

After approximately 20 years at its original location, Metro’s transit store is moving to a new location in downtown St. Louis. On February 1, MetroStore will open at its new location, which is adjacent to the 8th & Pine MetroLink Station and near several MetroBus and Madison County Transit express routes. The store will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The current location at 7th and Washington in America’s Center will close at 5 p.m. on January 26. Metro daily, monthly and two-hour passes can be purchased during the transition period via the online store at metrostore.org. MetroStore employees will resume assisting transit riders in person with trip planning and the purchase of Metro tickets, passes and other transit-related products on February 1 at the new location.

The new location will offer a convenient, customer-friendly environment for public transit riders and visitors alike and will feature a new theme: “Start Here.  Get There.” Throughout the coming year, MetroStore will profile several MetroBus and MetroLink routes and the various neighborhoods, businesses and attractions that can easily be accessed by taking Metro Transit, to illustrate all of the ways public transit connects riders to the important destinations the St. Louis region has to offer.
