Metro Transit Customers Can Exchange Expired Tickets Until June 28

Return to Blog
Effective Friday, June 28, 2024, we are changing how we handle expired, unused Metro One-Day Passes and MetroLink Tickets. Expired passes and tickets will no longer be accepted in exchange for valid fare after this date. Simply check the expiration date printed on any leftover Metro One-Day Passes and One-Ride MetroLink Tickets you may have. If you have these types of tickets, take note that they are not eligible for a refund. However, you have the opportunity to exchange them for valid fare before the June 28 cutoff.
You can exchange your expired, unused passes and tickets for valid ones at the MetroStore. Our friendly staff is ready to assist you with the exchange process. Here’s how you can get in touch with us:
  • Phone: Give us a call at 314-982-1495
  • Email: Drop us an email at MetroStore@MetroStLouis.org
  • Visit Us: Our MetroStore is conveniently located at the corner of Eighth and Pine Streets in downtown St. Louis. We’re open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We encourage all our riders who have eligible tickets to take advantage of this exchange opportunity before June 28, 2024. Please note that validated and/or previously used tickets and passes cannot be exchanged.
