The annual Fall MetroLink Fare Survey begins on Saturday, October 22, and will run through Sunday, November 13. The information collected during the annual surveys help us understand how riders pay their fare and what tickets/passes they choose to use. This data provides information needed for ongoing fare revenue analysis, universal pass program development and fare technology programs.
Fare surveyors will be visiting all 38 MetroLink stations through November 13. They will be wearing badges that display the Metro logo along with either “Survey Supervisor” or “Surveyor” printed on them. Fare surveyors will also be carrying clipboards and wearing khaki or dark slacks and white, button-down shirts. They will observe the type of fare you are using to ride (single-ride ticket, monthly pass, reduced fare, etc.), which will help our research and planning teams.
