Mobile Food Pantry at Transit Centers This Summer

St. Louis Area Foodbank is expanding its free Food on the Move program this summer to help address food insecurity issues in the St. Louis region. The mobile food pantry will visit several Metro Transit Centers on designated Saturdays, starting in July:

First Saturday of the Month
10 a.m. – 11: 30 a.m. | Rock Road Transit Center

Second Saturday of the Month
10 a.m. – Noon | Emerson Park Transit Center (Cancelled)
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Riverview Transit Center – The mobile food pantry will be located at the Church of Adullam, 8962 Riverview Drive, one block west of the Riverview Transit Center

Third Saturday of the Month
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | North Hanley Transit Center (New Time)
2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. | 5th & Missouri Transit Center (Cancelled)

For more than a year, the Food on the Move mobile food pantry has been serving the Rock Road Transit Center on the third Monday of the month. Starting Tuesday, June 21, the mobile pantry will operate at Rock Road Transit Center on the third Tuesday of the month.

St. Louis Area Foodbank’s mobile pantry offers transit riders, area residents, and visitors fresh, healthy food for themselves and their families, free of charge. It’s equipped with three refrigerators and can provide fresh and shelf-stable food items. For more information, visit stlfoodbank.org/foodonthemove.
