Some MetroBus passengers may need to board their bus at a different location, as a Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) construction project at Halls Ferry Circle will require detours for four MetroBus routes in North St. Louis and in North St. Louis County.
MoDOT closed half of the Halls Ferry Circle on August 20 to begin work to replace pavement and upgrade intersections to make them current with Americans with Disabilities Act standards. As a result of the 45-day closure, four MetroBus routes are being detoured and Metro Transit will be unable to serve more than a dozen MetroBus stops near Halls Ferry Circle. Signs were posted on the impacted bus stops to let riders know they would be not serviced by MetroBus during the road construction. The detours for the four MetroBus routes include:
#16 City Limits
#174 North Express
