Seniors (aged 65+), customers with disabilities, and customers who possess a Medicare ID are eligible for our Reduced Fare Programs and enjoy a price break when riding Metro. If you have any questions about reduced fares, call the MetroStore at 314-982-1495, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A Senior Reduced Fare Permit allows seniors (age 65 and older) to ride MetroBus and MetroLink for only half price! Obtaining your permit is easy and free – all you need to do is apply in person at the MetroStore or at one of our mobile registration events. Please note that, because a photo is taken when you’re issued a Senior Reduced Fare Permit, you must apply in person. The MetroRide Store is located in downtown St. Louis inside America’s Center, at 701 Convention Plaza. The MetroStore can be easily accessed by the #99 Downtown Trolley MetroBus route or by MetroLink, as it’s just a block west of the Convention Center MetroLink Station.
Permits are issued during normal MetroStore hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bring a government-issued picture identification card verifying your age (age 65 and older). Acceptable forms of identification include a state vehicle driver’s license, state ID, passport or alien registration card. For more information, call the MetroStore at 314-982-1495.
