Metro will conduct its annual fall MetroLink Fare Survey starting today, Monday, October 20, through Friday, November 14. Data collected each year is used to evaluate how customers use the light rail system and how they pay.
Fare surveyors will visit all 37 MetroLink stations over the course of the project, and can be identified by their badges, displaying a Metro logo with either Survey Supervisor or Surveyor. They will also be carrying clipboards and wearing khaki or dark slacks and white, button-down shirts. The surveyors will approach and observe passengers to determine what type of fare (single-ride ticket, monthly pass, etc.) they use to ride the system.
