MetroLink Work Scheduled October 20-26
Rail maintenance work on the MetroLink system may result in short delays for some passengers next week.
To accommodate work crews, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Central West End Station on Monday, Oct. 20, starting at 8 p.m. through the end of service. During those times, Blue Line trains will only operate between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Station. Red Line and Blue Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.
- Westbound Blue Line passengers traveling between the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station and the Central West End Station Monday night, should board a Red Line train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and transfer to a Blue Line train to continue westbound.
- Eastbound Blue Line passengers who board between the Shrewsbury Lansdowne I-44 Station and the Skinker MetroLink Station Monday night, should transfer to a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue eastbound. Eastbound Blue Line customers boarding between the Central West End Station and the Fairview Heights Station will also need to board an eastbound Red Line train for their trips.
MetroLink will also operate westbound and eastbound trains temporarily on one track starting at 8 p.m. through the end of service Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Oct. 21-23) at the Delmar Loop Station. During those times, Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line trains will not be affected by this track maintenance work.
MetroLink will also operate on a single track at the Terminal #2 MetroLink Station at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Friday (Oct. 24) from 8 p.m. until the end of service, and from beginning of service to the end of service on Saturday (Oct. 25) and Sunday (Oct. 26). Red Line customers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays.
Blue Line service will not be affected.
