Service Details

The MetroLink Blue Line will only operate between the Shrewsbury and Civic Center MetroLink Stations on these nights. In Missouri, eastbound Blue Line passengers will need to transfer to a Red Line train at the Civic Center MetroLink Station. In Illinois, westbound Blue Line passengers will need to catch a Red Line train to travel between the Fairview Heights and Civic Center MetroLink Stations. They will then need to transfer to a Blue Line train at the Civic Center MetroLink Station. Blue Line passengers should allow an extra 10 minutes for their commutes these evenings. Red Line customers will not be impacted by the night construction work.

A single track operation at the East Riverfront MetroLink Station will be in effect on Saturday, October 29, from the beginning of service until 8 a.m. During that time, Blue Line trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury and Civic Center MetroLink Stations. Blue Line passengers can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes. Red Line passengers will also be impacted and should allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes for their commutes on Saturday before 8 a.m.

Also on Saturday, October 29, MetroLink will operate trains on a single track at the Central West End MetroLink Station from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. so maintenance can be performed in the Kingshighway tunnel. Red Line and Blue Line passengers should plan for five minute delays.
