MetroLink Single Track Schedule Next Week

Single track MetroLink operations are scheduled at two different locations next week that will result in delays for some passengers. The first single track operation is in place Monday through Sunday between the East Riverfront and Arch-Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Stations from beginning of service until the end of service with up to 5 minute delays expected for Red and Blue Line passengers. MetroLink will also operate on a single track Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday late night between the Wellston, Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North, and North Hanley MetroLink Stations. That work will cause 20 minute delays for some Red Line passengers.
SERVICE DETAILS
Monday – Sunday, May 28 to June 3, from beginning of service until the end of service each day, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the East Riverfront and the Arch-Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Stations to accommodate rehabilitation work on the Eads Bridge. Blue and Red Line passengers should allow an extra 5 minutes for their commutes.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, May 29-31, from 8 p.m. until the end of service each night, To accommodate crews working on the UMSL South interlocking project, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the Wellston, Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North, and North Hanley stations. Red Line passengers should expect 20 minute delays from the Wellston MetroLink Station to Lambert Airport Terminal #1. Blue Line Service will not be impacted.
MetroBus shuttles will supplement MetroLink service from the Wellston to North Hanley stations Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings after 8 p.m. Eastbound passengers can either board an Express bus that will take them directly from the North Hanley station to the Wellston station, or they can board a local bus that will stop at the UMSL North, UMSL South, Rock Road and Wellston stations. Once they arrive at the Wellston MetroLink Station, passengers can board the train and continue eastbound. Westbound passengers will have the same option of boarding an Express bus that will transport them directly from the Wellston station to the North Hanley station, or they can get on the local bus which will stop at Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North and North Hanley stations. Once they arrive at the North Hanley MetroLink Station, passengers can board a train and continue westbound to St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
Friday, June 1, from 11:30 p.m. until the end of service, To accommodate crews working on the UMSL South interlocking project, MetroLink will operate on a single track between the Wellston, Rock Road, UMSL South, UMSL North, and North Hanley stations. Red Line passengers should expect 5 to 10 minute delays from the Wellston MetroLink Station to the Lambert Airport Terminal #1. Blue Line Service will not be impacted.
