MetroLink Work Scheduled for Later This Week

Work is scheduled on the MetroLink system March 27 through March 31. Passengers may experience short delays in the work zone. The affected areas of the MetroLink system are:

• Rock Road MetroLink Station
• Wellston MetroLink Station
• Arch-Laclede’s Landing MetroLink Station
• Convention Center MetroLink Station
• 8th & Pine MetroLink Station
• Stadium MetroLink Station

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Rock Road and Wellston stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service March 27 & 28 (Wednesday & Thursday) to conduct track maintenance. Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will not be affected.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Arch-Laclede’s Landing, Convention Center, 8th & Pine and Stadium stations from 8 p.m. until the end of service March 29 (Friday) and from the beginning of service until the end of service March 30-31 (Saturday and Sunday) so maintenance work can be done at Stadium Station. Red Line passengers may experience 5 to 10 minute delays. Blue Line service will only operate from Shrewsbury Station to Forest Park-DeBaliviere station.

For passenger safety and to prepare for the platform work, all MetroLink trains will bypass the eastbound platform at Stadium Station on March 29 (Friday), from 9 a.m. until the beginning of single track at 8 p.m. The westbound platform will be open and available for passenger access.

EASTBOUND PASSENGERS ON A METROLINK TRAIN:

Eastbound passengers on a train traveling to Stadium Station will need to continue to 8th & Pine Station. Once at 8th & Pine Station, those passengers will need to get off the eastbound train and board a westbound train back to Stadium Station.

EASTBOUND PASSENGERS AT STADIUM STATION:

Eastbound passengers waiting at Stadium Station will need to board a westbound train at Stadium Station and travel to Civic Center Station. Once at Civic Center, those passengers will need to get off the westbound train and board an eastbound train at Civic Center.

RED LINE & BLUE LINE PASSENGERS:

Both Red Line and Blue Line passengers traveling to or from Stadium Station should allow an extra 10 minutes for their trips.

MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood Manchester stations from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. March 30 (Saturday) for rail inspections between Shrewsbury and Sunnen stations. Red Line service will not be affected. Blue Line passengers may experience up to 5 minute delays.
