MetroLink passengers are encouraged to plan ahead as maintenance and infrastructure work along the light rail system will require changes to MetroLink service this week.
On Tuesday through Thursday (May 28-30) from 8 p.m. to end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations to allow work on the overhead power system. During these periods, Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations.
On Friday (May 31) from 11:30 p.m. to end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations. During these periods, Red Line and Blue Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of up to 5 minutes.
On Tuesday through Friday (May 28-31) from 8 p.m. to end of service and on Saturday (June 1) from beginning of service to 8 a.m., MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Brentwood I-64 and Richmond Heights MetroLink Stations to accommodate track maintenance. Blue Line customers may experience delays of up to 5 minutes. Red Line service will not be affected.
