Next Quarterly Metro Service Change December 2
Metro constantly monitors and reviews feedback from customers and operators to build a better transit experience for the St. Louis region. As a result, every quarter MetroBus routes and schedules are updated to better improve MetroLink connections and MetroBus on-time performance.
Brief details of the Service Change effective December 2, 2013 are as follows:
SUMMARY OF DEC. 2, 2013 SERVICE CHANGES
• #1 Gold: Due to construction at Euclid and West Pine, the route will no longer serve West Pine – the route will proceed on Lindell between Taylor and Euclid instead.
• #11 Chippewa: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #17 Oakville: Running time adjustments on weekdays for better schedule adherence.
• #21 Watson Road: Running time adjustments on weekdays and Saturday for better schedule adherence.
• #27 North County Shuttle: Routing changed to stay out of the Flower Valley Shopping Center at the request of the businesses. The stops at Halls Ferry & Lindbergh will provide access to these destinations instead.
• #32 ML King-Chouteau: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #35 Rock Road: Re-scheduled on weekdays with additional afternoon trips, running time adjustments on Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #40 Broadway: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #41 Lee: Routing change to bypass Grand & Lee as requested by St. Louis Police Department. The new routing will use Kossuth between Grand and Obear/Vandeventer. Customers will now have access to a signalized intersection at Kossuth for safer crossing.
• #44 Hazelwood: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #45 Ferguson-Florissant: Routing changed to stay out of the Flower Valley Shopping Center at the request of the businesses. The stops at Lindbergh & New Halls Ferry will provide access to these destinations instead. Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday.
• #46 Tesson Ferry: Running time adjustments on weekdays for better schedule adherence.
• #47 North Hanley: Routing changed to stay out of the Flower Valley Shopping Center at the request of the businesses and running time adjustments on weekday, Saturday and Sunday. The stops at Lindbergh & New Halls Ferry will provide access to these destinations instead. Select late night trips enter the Flower Valley Shopping Center.
• #48 South Lindbergh: Routing adjustment to serve buildings #51 & #53 at Jefferson Barracks Hospital in both directions.
• #56 Kirkwood-Webster: Running time adjustments on weekdays and Saturday for better schedule adherence.
• #57 Maplewood-Wildwood: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #64 Lucas Hunt: Running time adjustments on weekdays for better schedule adherence.
• #70 Grand: Routing and running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence. The route will no longer serve the Broadway & Taylor Transit Center – the route will end at Broadway & Grand. Rush hour service extended in the evening.
• #74 Florissant: Running time adjustments on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #91 Olive: Running time adjustments on weekdays for better schedule adherence.
• #95 Kingshighway: Re-scheduled on weekdays, Saturday and Sunday for better schedule adherence.
• #97 Delmar: Trip time adjustment to the last trip on weekdays for better connection to the last buses at the Clayton MetroBus Center.
• #98 Chesterfield-Hanley: Running time adjustments on weekdays for better schedule adherence.
• #174X Halls Ferry Express: Routing changed to stay out of the Flower Valley Shopping Center at the request of the businesses. The morning trips will still pickup inside the Mall, the afternoon trips will drop off at New Halls Ferry & Lindbergh.
