Ride MetroLink to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final
The streets of downtown St. Louis will be filled with tens of thousands of fans, media and visitors from around the globe on June 9 as the St. Louis Blues take on the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Metro Transit is the perfect option to enjoy the excitement and spectacle of the Stanley Cup Final while avoiding traffic congestion on the highways and downtown streets.
Hockey fans can park at one of the 21 free Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in both Missouri and Illinois, and ride MetroLink to any of the six stations serving downtown St. Louis to have easy access to the rallies, concerts, watch parties or the big game itself. The Civic Center MetroLink Station is located just one block south of the Enterprise Center and two blocks south of the NHL Stanley Cup Watch Party celebration on Market Street.
Due to large crowds expected in downtown St. Louis on June 9, Metro will have extra security and personnel available throughout the MetroLink system to assist passengers. MetroLink Operations will monitor platforms and will be ready to add extra trains into service, if needed.
Purchasing round-trip MetroLink tickets to get to the game, watch parties and rallies has never been easier. Hockey fans can buy their MetroLink tickets directly from their mobile devices with the Metro Mobile app. As part of a pilot program, the new fare-purchasing app allows customers to buy MetroLink tickets valid for Blues and Cardinals game days and store them on their mobile device.
