Ride On to St. Patrick’s Day Festivities on Metro Transit

[ST. LOUIS, MO/March 8, 2023]  The bi-state area is going to look a little greener with several St. Patrick’s Day celebrations scheduled throughout the region starting this weekend. You won’t need the luck of the Irish to enjoy all of the fun because Metro Transit makes it easy to ride on to the festivities without worrying about traffic, street closures or finding a place to park.

The St. Patrick’s Day celebrations kick off this Saturday, March 11, in downtown St. Louis and in Belleville. The celebrations continue in the Dogtown neighborhood on Friday, March 17, with the Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival. Families and parade-goers can park for free at any one of 21 Metro Park-Ride lots in Missouri and Illinois and ride MetroLink to the festivities or hop on one of several convenient MetroBus options.

Details of the events and nearby transit connections are below. To plan your trip to St. Patrick’s Day fun, visit metrostlouis.org, use the Transit app, or contact Metro Transit Information for assistance at 314.207.9786 (text) or 314.231.2345 (phone), available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some MetroBus routes may have detours due to the festivities, so customers are encouraged to check Rider Alerts for details.
