Ride On to the Evolution Festival Aboard MetroLink
Cooler temperatures forecast for this weekend will provide the perfect weather as thousands of music fans head to Forest Park on Saturday, August 26, and Sunday, August 27, for Evolution Festival, and MetroLink is the most convenient way to get there.
Evolution Festival takes place at Langenberg Field in Forest Park, located just south of the Missouri History Museum and less than a half-mile south of the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station. Music fans can park their vehicles at any of the 21 free Park-Ride lots located at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois, purchase their MetroLink ticket on their phones, and ride MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station. There is also free parking available for Metro Transit riders at the Expo at Forest Park garage on Pershing Avenue off of DeBaliviere Avenue, just north of the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station.
MetroLink trains will arrive and depart from the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station every 10 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
Music fans can use the Transit app to conveniently plan their trip to Evolution Festival and purchase a $5 Day Pass in advance to enjoy unlimited rides on MetroLink and MetroBus for the entire day. In addition to the Transit app, customers can plan their transit trip, check out transit schedules and parking information at MetroStLouis.org, or by contacting Metro Transit Information at 314.231.2345 (phone) or 314.207.9786 (text), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No eating, drinking, smoking or vaping (including e-cigarettes) is permitted on Metro Transit vehicles or property. Only personal sized coolers are allowed to be brought on trains, buses and Metro Call‑A‑Ride vans. Alcohol and all weapons including firearms (both open carry and concealed carry) are prohibited on Metro Transit vehicles and property. Child strollers and wagons must be able to be folded up and stowed while on the train.
