MetroLink Work Scheduled March 25-31
Update (3/29/2019) MetroLink has cancelled scheduled single-track operations on Friday (March 29) at the Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester and Union Station and Civic Center stations. Blue Line trains will continue to ONLY operate between the Shrewsbury-Landowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere stations.
Update (3/27/2019) MetroLink has cancelled scheduled single-track operations on Sunday (March 31) at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations.
MetroLink passengers are encouraged to plan ahead as maintenance and infrastructure work along the light rail system will require changes to MetroLink service that may affect their evening and weekend commutes next week.
On Monday through Thursday (March 25-28) from 8 p.m. to end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations to accommodate track maintenance. During these periods, eastbound Blue Line MetroLink trains will depart 5 minutes early from the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44, Sunnen and Maplewood-Manchester MetroLink Stations. Westbound passengers headed to the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Station may experience delays of up to 5 minutes. Red Line service will not be affected.
On Monday through Thursday (March 25-28) from 8 p.m. to end of service and on Saturday (March 30) from beginning of service to end of service, MetroLink will operate on a single track at the Union Station and Civic Center MetroLink Stations due to work on the overhead power system. During these periods, Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations.
- Westbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train between the Fairview Heights and Central West End MetroLink Stations, and travel to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to transfer to a Blue Line train and continue their westbound trips.
- Eastbound Blue Line passengers will need to board a Red Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station to continue their eastbound trips.
- Red Line MetroLink passengers may experience delays of 5minutes.
- Passengers should allow 10 minutes when transferring between Red Line and Blue Line
