Ride Metro to CityPark and St. Louis CITY SC Action!

Return to Blog

Logo for St. Louis City SCIt’s time! CityPark opens for the first time tonight, and if you’re headed downtown to watch St. Louis CITY2 take on Leverkusen – Metro makes it easy to enjoy all of the fun and excitement without worrying about traffic or parking.

It’s simple:

  • You can park your vehicle at any of 20 free Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois
  • Purchase a $5 Day Pass on Transit app or at a Ticket Vending Machine, located at every MetroLink station – good for unlimited rides on MetroLink and MetroBus for a day
  • Ride MetroLink to Union Station, which is located just a couple blocks south of CityPark

As trains and platforms may be crowded before, during and after the game, please allow extra time for your commute and pay close attention to children and others you are traveling with so you do not get separated.

Please note: Blue Line MetroLink service is currently only operating between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations due to damage from flash floods this summer. Blue Line passengers will need to exit their Blue Line train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and transfer to an eastbound Red Line train to continue their trip to CityPark.

Plan your trip to the first game at CityPark by using our schedules and maps, using Transit app, or by contacting Metro Transit Information at 314.231.2345 (phone) or 314.207.9786 (text), available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
